This week on the Geek I/O Show, we were joined by Keith Lee from Counterplay Games to talk about the KickStarter for the upcoming game Duelyst! He showed us how to make an amazing cross-platform Thundercat and how you can get your very own sword-wielding doge. We discussed how a Y makes finding a domain name easier, detailed art on the tiniest scale, floating worlds, secret story lines, the bluffing mechanic, The Candy Duel Saga, pounding through Buffy, 35,000 rows in Excel, Fios feels so good, how to not smell like ass cheese, the quality of whore house showers, secret game research, Cosmos shouldn't offend you, who all kinda looks like Palpatine, the third version is the charm with YouTube API, how to properly use Tom Hiddleston, humans can be useful, and how to spell constipated. Plus! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer has arrived! Does it kick shell or is it as bad of an idea as anchovies on pizza? Join us on Geek I/O, won't you? We aren't sure which one is weirder.

Let's Talk Cop

Evenin' horror fiends, sci-fi occultists, and all you other geek freaks, this is Red speaking.

I guess I should tell you a little about myself so you know who is behind the rambling. By day I'm a chair sitter in Army greens and by night I'm embracing my inner geek. I own more action figures than responsible adult waffle makers, I have a growing collection of sci-fi and horror novels that I will never get through, and if I'm not watching a 1980's cult classic I've seen 101 times I'm writing stories out of nightmares. How's the saying go? "This is why I don't have friends." Embrace the weird y'all, here goes.

Let's talk cop, RoboCop. (No Spoiler Alerts)

Thief Review

With all of the horribly negative reviews circulating about the Thief reboot, I have been asked numerous times for my opinion on the game. So here is my honest opinion and breakdown (no spoilers) on Thief.

Thief is a purely a game of stealth. While you can either sneak everywhere silently, knock people out or go on a murdering spree, the shadows will always be your best friend. So right off the bat, I will say that if you are not a stealth fan, this probably isn't the ideal game for you.

It's no secret what Garrett's choice of profession is. While he may have sticky fingers that can't help but grasp onto anything with value, causing his face to be plastered everywhere in PUBLIC ENEMY signs, he is also the very hero that the city needs.

Show X - Episode 140 - Water Vapors to rule the gaming world

This week, Ken tries to kill himself yet again, while Wayne tries to kill a beer. Ken has a quick discussion on what it means to be charitable and there is a Reid that has gotten sucked back into Runescape... But it's not Ken? Wayne is spending a week celebrating people's birthdays and both gents play their standard fill of League of Legends. Ken is still coding like a good little programmer while Wayne finished up the anime, Kill La Kill.

The boys are joined by good friends of the show, ThePCTech and Kur0, to discuss the main topic of the show, Valve and thier boiling water projects. What is Valve currently up to? How will their vision of Steam effect PC Gamers and potentially gamers of all kinds? Does this technology even really work? Streaming, OS'es, Boxes and more.

Star Wars Episode VII filming starting soon

At today's Shareholder meeting, Disney head honcho Bob Iger stated that the next Star Wars epic will begin filming in May, as well as unleashing the following bombshell on us!

> "Rumor has it that almost every actor in the world has been cast in this movie, but so far, the official cast member that we've confirmed, the only one, is R2D2. Played by R2D2,"

OK, so not a huge bombshell, but the movie has not even had its villain officially cast yet , though "Girls" actor Adam Driver is in talks for the role. Several other names have been attached to the film too, such as "Downton Abbey" thesp Ed Speleers, "Attack the Block" star John Boyega, "Breaking Bad" and "Friday Night Light's" Jesse Plemons and theater actors Matthew James Thomas and Ray Fisher. Hopefully we'll find out more as we get closer to the start of filming; May 4th seems like a safe bet. Just think of the headlines.

The J.J. Abrams-led epic is set to send us to a galaxy far, far away once again on December 18, 2015.

Wayne decides that blowing out his thighs by skiing all day and doing martial arts is the best way to work out. He also lets everyone know about his love of Legos and the Legos' Movie. Ken makes a crazy statement after discussing how much fun he had playing Loadout, that he is going to give up real PC gaming in favor of doing things like coding and going outside. He thinks he can survive with just his MAC...

The guys also look at new input devices from Razer and Valve, another new 3d printer, and Wayne is squeeing over the chance to get an updated version of Homeworld!
